I'm seriously considering getting a Valtra T194 Direct that's got about 5,000 hours on it. We've been stuck with these older 6000 series machines for a while now, but the workload is really pushin us to upgrade. I do have some worries about potential issues with the Direct transmission, those can be pretty costly, right? Has anyone here dealt with them before? I'd really appreciaet any advice or warnings you've got before I make this decision.

Valtra Direct transmissions can be a hit or miss honestly, but if it's been well maintained, you might be good. Before buying it though, go hardcore on the inspection since the repairs aren't cheap. Worth it if you need the power, though. Better yet bring a mechanic with you?

Everything that @let's bagpipe I agree and I'll also mention the price. 5k hours is a lot, so you'll need to be looking at a very atractive price to consider it because if it's priced similarly to models with half of that, then what's the point?
